— Alison's announcement for ScotRail service to Aberdeen

Alison McKay is an automated announcer on the railway network. She is the Scottish voice for the KeTech system, and one of three station announcers (the others being Karen Cunningham and Scottish Female) in Scotland. She announces the UK's longest train journey, the Aberdeen to Penzance CrossCountry service (46 Stops!).

The real-life Alison McKay has done recordings well beyond the railway. For over 20 years she has been doing voice-overs for all sorts of radio and TV adverts, corporate videos, animations and even provided a voice for telephones when on-hold.[1]
